Chemical Integrator for Steam (IT26-1YS)

Description

The IT26-1YS is a single-point chemical integrator designed for monitoring steam sterilisation cycles operating between 121 °C and 134 °C. It provides reliable control of steam sterilisation processes within the 121 °C to 135 °C temperature range.

Users should always consult the Instructions for Use (IFU) to confirm suitability for the sterilisation cycles approved in their country.

Product Characteristics

Instructions for Use

1. Place one Integron® IT26-1YS chemical integrator inside each pack, pouch, or tray intended for steam sterilisation. When using rigid containers, position an indicator in each corner, or at a minimum in two diagonally opposite corners, to verify steam penetration into the most challenging locations.
2. Run the steam sterilisation cycle as per your validated process.
3. Once the cycle is complete, remove the indicators and inspect the results. A successful cycle is indicated by the integrator ink changing fully to the black reference colour, confirming that the required integration conditions have been achieved.
